“A Call To Arms” #2 – Pages 7-8

THE BLACK COAT is America's first superspy! Set in New York City in the days before the Revolutionary War, The Black Coat fights against the British and forces of the occult to protect the burgeoning nation. It's action packed fun that Chuck Dixon calls "...my kind of comics!"

The Black Coat was originally published by Ape Entertainment in 2006. Over the next 8 years, several series, one-shots, and graphic novels were printed and met with critical success. In the summer of 2020, we'll begin an exciting journey and publish the entire collection online in webcomic format, 4 pages every week. So whether you're new to the series or a long-time Black Coat fan, stop back every MONDAY and THURSDAY for new page uploads and enjoy the complete adventures of The Black Coat!

Getting Ready for Comic-Con!

SDCC07Comic Con is less than a week away and we’re gearing up for a great show! This will be my (Ben’s) second Comic-Con but my first at a booth and I’m pretty excited. I’ll be hanging out with tons of other Ape creators at Ape’s booth (# 2105). There should be lots for all of you BC fans to see and do at the booth. We’ll have trade Paperbacks and the latest issue of “…Or Give Me Death” on sale (sorry , no issue 2 yet…), I’ll be signing books and doing sketches as well.  Just look for the Black Coat standup and the Ape banner! More updates coming soon!
